Turkey's construction sector is restructuring due to rising material and labor costs and the narrowing of land supply. The impact of transportation investments in metropolitan cities is increasing demand for housing aimed at middle-income groups. SOA Holding Chairman Yalçın Artukoğlu stated that investors are taking more cautious steps during this period.
Artukoğlu emphasized that proper land selection and cost control are critical for sustainable growth in the sector. "Proper planning and location provide long-term value. In the Ankara project, the transportation advantage and the region's potential come to the forefront," he said.
Noting that urban transformation has strategic importance in the renewal of cities, Artukoğlu expressed that they support this process by producing accessible housing in their projects.
Artukoğlu stated that elements such as environmental compatibility, energy efficiency and material quality are gaining priority in the housing of the future: "Sustainability is not only economic; it means adding value to society and the environment."
Artukoğlu, who stated that investor confidence is a fundamental element for the sector, emphasized that transparent planning and feasibility sharing build long-term trust.
