Turkish Investors Turn to TRNC: 40% Increase in Apartment Prices
Recent turbulence in the real estate sector, the search for FX-based income and the need for a safe haven have redirected Turkish investors toward the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC). Steady price appreciation in the region and a 40.49% increase in apartment prices over the past year are turning the TRNC into a powerful attraction point.
With the market reaching high multi-billion-euro volumes, the TRNC becomes even more appealing for investment. New legal regulations granting Turkish citizens the right to purchase up to six apartments clearly boost investor appetite. Thanks to FX-based returns and the region's dynamic market structure, Turkish investors are tracking new opportunities on the island.
SOA Holding Chairman Yalcin Artukoglu noted that the price surge, strong demand and FX-based income model in the TRNC create a compelling picture for Turkish investors. He underlined that the island is no longer just a vacation alternative but a strategic investment hub offering sustainable returns, and that they provide investors with a safe, transparent and high-value model in the projects developed there.
Artukoglu added that the region will gain further momentum into 2026 and beyond, highlighting that monthly rents ranging between £600–850 and annual FX-based appreciation of up to 14% provide a strong passive income opportunity.
